Holiday Inn Saint Louis West at Six Flags by IHG

I came to STL with my husband for a wedding last weekend and our Airbnb plans fell through after we landed so we needed a room quick and it was late but the wonderful women at the front desk (I can’t remember their names but God were they so cool!!) helped us out and told us all of the lore about the hotel. The room was clean and we were by the pool, it wasn’t too bad at all we were expecting much more noise since the pool is indoors and it was on the other side of our glass door so you’d expect it to be bad but it wasn’t thankfully. Room was cleaned daily, everyone was sweet. I didn’t check out the bar or restaurant, but we will be back when we fly into STL.

We stayed here for our trip to six flags. The shuttle lady was very nice and got us back and forth safely! The hotel is a bit dated but our room was nice and our beds super comfortable! It was also very clean. Check in and check out was a breeze with a very friendly staff. The only thing I would complain about is housekeeping woke us banging on the door at 8 am that morning and opened our door while I was trying to get my robe on, then again at 9 am even though I told her we was doing a late check out. It ruined my sleeping and I rarely get to sleep in a little late so that was disappointing! But I would stay here again but would let them know to keep housekeeping away until im awake!

I didn't expect such a pretty property. We were in town for the first time for a work trip, & enjoyed our stay. We had a very early flight & the staff were very kind in helping accommodate our early arrival.

We love this hotel and have always enjoyed staying here, especially because of the hot tub. Unfortunately, during our last few visits, the hot tub has been overtaken by children—jumping in and out, splashing, and horseplaying. The hot tub is meant for relaxation, but it has been anything but that lately. On our most recent stay (11/01/25-11/02/25), we experienced the same issue. The bartender informed us that the hot tub was designated as kid-free during the last hour of service (10 p.m. to 11 p.m.), so my husband and I waited to use it during that time. However, when we went to get in, the water was full of floating hair and other debris. As a hot tub owner myself, I can confidently say there isn’t a cleaner in the world that would make me want to sit in water that dirty. I think there should be some rules for kids using the hot tub, but I know that might be a long stretch from happening. I just wish we could have enjoyed the hot tub after a long day at Six Flags after walking over 16,000 steps!

Amazing the pool was amazing the building was beautiful and charming. Close to six flags with a shuttle ride . Just out of saint Lois perfect if you don’t want to stay downtown.10 out of ten

Very special place. Amazing staff ! So friendly and inviting. The history and architecture is something to experience. We travel thru Missouri twice a year, and always make this place a stop for us. Especially with having a dog, it's perfect for dogs. Huge grass area to walk and play.

Love this hotel! it's a gorgeous older building with more character than any of the new cookie cutter style hotels that you'll usually see in the holiday in chain. the Lobby is beautiful and i pray they never gut it simply to look NEW. the fundome is great and the beds are the comfiest that i've ever slept in. It's always a treat to be able to stay here and i can't wait for my next stay

Decent hotel for the price we paid. Nice pool area in the “fundome” Good location, felt very safe! Very historical buildings, but dated hotel vibes inside the hallways. Beds and pillows were comfy! Breakfast buffet was decent for the price.
